30% Weekly assignments (homework)
40% Tests (sort on-line exams in a weekly basis)
30% Final Project (written report)
Weekly assignments (30%)
Starting from week 3 a small set of exercises (will attached examples) are assigned per student in a weekly basis. Assignment will take place though the e-class platform.
Tests (40%)
Starting from week 4 and during the lecture (i.e. from 11:15-11:30), each student will answer a short exercise on the subject area that an assignment was delivered at the previous week.
Final Project (30%)
The final project is a written report that involves performing numerical experiments (using wP virtual lab) that focus on confirming analytic theoretical relations describing the propagation of optical beams. Each student will select the subject of his/her project from an extended list of subjects that will be proposed.
The written reports will be upload though the e-class platform.
